About Me

Hi, I’m Dave Clarke: Designer, Illustrator and Multimedia Artist.

I specialise in finding elegant solutions to complex problems. Since 2010 I’ve helped a wide range of organisations both large and small with design & illustration for print, web and social media, along with modern and responsive web design, digital animation, video post-production and presentation styling.

Some of my recent clients include Sky UK, Marks & Spencer, Disney, Bosch, Hilton Hotels, Oxford University, Imperial College London and EDF Energy. My work has also featured on several global media websites including BBC News, CNN, The Mirror and The Telegraph.

With each client, large or small, I start with the same honest curiosity. It’s a drive for understanding and innovation which makes an open dialogue the heart of any project. I understand that making something look beautiful is only part of my job – great design must also function effectively in an ever-changing digital world. This could mean converted sales, it could mean telling a story, or it could mean simply providing a clear message in a crowded visual space. It could mean blending in, it could mean being loud. You get the idea. There is no one-size-fits-all solution – each project is a fresh new world to explore.

Whether it’s a new website, social media advertising, branded content, a company presentation, leaflets to promote your business, a YouTube video or anything else – I always imagine myself as part of your audience and start from there, working with you at every step to get things right. No ego, no drama, just effective art, design and multimedia work, reliably delivered on-time and on-budget.
